RUN FOR THE SUN
This is a submission for the Global Game Jam 2023 competition with the theme “Roots”. I lead a team of 5 developers (3 programmers, 1 artist and 1 sound designer) to create a 2D pixel platformer. After its 48 hour competition window, I worked on this project for another month.
You take control of Sunny Seed, a sunflower seed who mysteriously wakes up at the bottom of a ditch. From the moment they become conscious they have the irresistible urge to make it to the sun and grow.

LEADERSHIP
Since I knew everyone on the team, I managed to bring everyone together and lead the creative process.
I knew everyone's strengths and tailored the project based on that aspect.
As someone who was not always fond of pixel art games, in my recent game projects, especially this one, I found it very appealing and fun. I got to understand the pixel perfect setup even more, work with some talented specialists and make something that I am very proud of.
